Below are some of the most asked questions we receive about our services.

Why are you different from other household goods movers?
We specialize in hassle free moves. Our service includes a careful pre-move planning to ensure a smooth move without any disruptions. We also provide value-added services such as relocation planning. Please see our “Why Us” page.

How much do you charge?
Our rates are very price competitive. They vary depending on the following types of factors:

  • Distance Covered
  • Weight of Shipment
  • Special Items
  • Expedited Service Requirements

We can typically save our clients on average 10%—15% of the cost of an average move.

What is your service area?
Our primary service area is Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia; however, we can also handle your longer distance relocations as well.

Do you have insurance?
Yes. We are fully licensed and insured, e.g., general liability, workers comp, automobile, and cargo.

Do you have a fuel surcharge?
Yes. This is defined as a fee added to cover the increased cost of fuel.

How much does a move cost?
Local moves (less than 100 miles) can cost as little as $500.  In 2007, the average cost of an interstate household move was about $4,200, based on an average weight of 7,400 pounds and average distance of 1,225 miles.  Our detailed planning kit can help you reduce these costs by up to 15%.
